On this Giving Tuesday, you have an amazing opportunity to invest in a project that will change the lives of hundreds of vulnerable girls for many years to come.  These are the girls who attend our school, Tumaini International Girls High School. Through the generosity of one of our partner families, we have a brand-new dormitory! The modern facility has a 432-bed capacity, a nurse’s and a chaperone’s rooms and offices.  We are overly excited about it!  The challenge now is to furnish it by January 2021 when all the students will be coming back to resume on-site learning, after an eleven-month hiatus. The timing of this new facility could not have been better with the COVID-19 protocols of social distancing and sanitation being put in place in schools across the country. 

Today, we are asking you to help us raise $10,000, a small percentage of the $75,000 that we need to furnish the facility. Any amount you can donate will help, but here are some examples of what your gift will be applied to:

• 216 Bunk Beds ($115 each bed) 
• 432 Lockers ($65 each locker)
• 66 Sets of Curtains ($42 each set)
• Furnishings for the matron and nurse’s room, nurse’s workstation, and other common area furnishings.
